Statistics show that some 15 million Americans don’t work a typical nine-to-five schedule. These employees, aka shift workers, who punch in for graveyard or rotating shifts, are more prone to numerous health hazards, from heart attacks to obesity. New research, published in Endocrinology, shows shift work may also have serious implications for the brain.

We're all taught that practice makes perfect, and that repetition leads to success. While that may be true, it's also true that repetition can lead to overuse injuries when it comes to certain types of activities.

For modern Americans, stress has become a way of life. A recent Gallup poll found that more than three out of four Americans experience stress in their daily lives, with nearly half experiencing stress frequently.
