Gutters 

With rainy weather on the rise, it is important to check your gutters to make sure they are not blocked or clogged. If left untreated, the water can cause structural damages or even mold. As leaves and limbs begin to fall, inspect your gutters regularly to ensure that they are working properly. 

Electrical Systems 

Temperature changes cause a change in your electricity use. Make sure your breaker box is up to date, working efficiently and safely. If you have kids in your home, it is also a good idea to make sure that your light switch covers are showing no signs of cracking or discoloration—either of those could be signs of insufficient wiring.

Although the chilly weather has not hit quite yet, you do not want to wait until it is too late to make sure your heater is prepped and ready to go. Changing your filters, checking ductwork and inspecting for mold or mildew are especially important. Taking these measures not only ensures the comfort of your home but also means healthier air quality and longer lifespan on your unit. 

Windows 

Window and door maintenance is essential to surviving whatever weather conditions come our way, hot or cold. If your doors and windows aren’t properly sealed, your systems have to work harder to keep your home comfortable. Plumbing
