AcuPlus is a topical pain relief brand created by Dr. Craig Morton, founding partner and board member of the Center for Orthopaedics in Lake Charles. He is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician specializing in the nonsurgical treatment of spine and joint pain. Creating AcuPlus was a natural extensive of his practice, since the pain relief solution is a conservative approach before the use of medication. Thrive spoke with the AcuPlus team to learn more. 

When was AcuPlus founded? 

AcuPlus is a Lake Charles–based brand that was introduced to the market in 2018. It grew from Dr. Craig Morton’s experience helping patients who wanted a practical topical option for managing everyday muscle and joint aches. 

What is your best seller?  

Our 4 oz. Pain Relief Cream and 3 oz. Roll-On are our most popular products. The 4 oz. jar is a customer favorite for convenient at-home use, while the roll-on provides easy, targeted application without getting product on the hands. Its compact, TSA-compliant size also makes it ideal for travel as it can be easily tucked into a purse, gym bag or carry-on for relief on the go. 

Our AcuPlus Bath Bombs offer a relaxing, full-body experience and are ideal after exercise, travel or a long day. They combine Epsom salts and soothing oils to create a comforting soak. 

What makes AcuPlus unique? 

The 13-ingredient synergy is what makes AcuPlus different. AcuPlus is a menthol 3.5% topical analgesic, but the formula was not created to rely on menthol alone. It brings together 13 carefully selected ingredients in one targeted formula developed from a rehabilitation physician’s clinical perspective. 

AcuPlus is also fast-absorbing, non-greasy and has a cooling menthol scent that fades after application. It is made in the USA in an FDA-registered facility and was created to fit easily into the everyday lives of people who want to remain active and apply relief directly where they need it.

Yes.
